Problem Note 68188: The SAS® Grid Manager log does not populate as expected for Platform Web Services
When optional components are configured for SASServer14, the Platform Web Services logging is configured incorrectly.
In the $CONFIG/Lev1/Web/Common/LogConfig folder where the log4j.xml files are generated, the SASGridManager-log4j.xml file is not created correctly. Because it is not created correctly, the SAS-configuration-directory/Lev1/Web/Logs/SASServer14_1 folder and log are not generated at runtime.
The workaround is to rename the SASGridManager-log4j.xml.orig file to SASGridManager-log4j.xml. Then restart SASServer14_1. The SAS Grid Manager log is then generated correctly.
